More Colour Requested!

I have finally found some time to sit down and play with our blog. A request from Brianna, suggested that we put more colour into our blog, so here it is, I hope you like it.

I’m sure you all missed me so much on Friday (Yeah right!!). I had a busy day, leaving Horsham at 5:30am to coach the Horsham West Footy side. We won the first game by 1 point, lost the second game by 1 point and lost the third game by 4 points. The competition was evenly matched and the West boys all played well. If we had have won the last game we would have won the day. It turns out that the team that won the day, Bairnsdale West P.S. was the team that we beat first.
We arrived back in Horsham at 6:30pm. It was a huge day and I slept well that night!!

I encourage both students, parents and friends to post some comments on our blog. Check out some of 50W’s work, it’s just AWESOME!!

More Bubbles

Amy and I were looking at a science book and found a bubble experiment so we asked Mr. Weir if we could do it in Science. All we needed was water, glycerine and detergent, mix it all together and there you have the mixture. First we got a dropper and dropped water onto a coin to see how many drops you could do before it spilt over the side.

The science topic we were talking about wasthe surface tension of water.

Attention! Roll Call

Mr. Weir yells a lot when we do the ‘Army Roll’ and so do we. If we call him ‘mam’ (as a joke), instead of saying Yes Sir!, we have to do 5 push ups.  It’s just a fun way of doing the roll in the morning.  By Dylan

Nadia and I [Amy] came up with making bubbles in science. We had to use glycerine, water and detergent. We put drops of water on a ten cent coin and then Mr. Weir came around and put some detergent on the water on the ten cent coin and the water went everywhere!  By Amy Deayton

My Brother’s WeddingI would like to share a photo of my brother’s wedding which was on the long weekend just gone.  His name is Brad and his wife’s name is Krissy.    My younger sister, Chantelle was also in the wedding she is the blond one on the end next to her boyfriend, Clint.  Next is my Dad Col, he’s a farmer up at Yaapeet. Brad and Krissy are in the middle and my Mum Pam, is on the other side.  She works in the office at the Rainbow Secondary College and can type a lot faster than me!

Next is me, I scrub up alright if I do say so myself! I am  holding onto our third daughter Hannah, 2.  My wife Trudi is next to me and she is holding onto our fourth daughter Lilly, 5 months, she is a wonderful and very busy mother.  In the front row standing next to Krissy is my eldest daughter Jorrdan, 5 who was the flowergirl in the wedding.  Last of all is Emmy, 3 she is my second eldest daughter and I can tell from this photo that she was getting sick of having her photo taken!
